Why this exists.
Politicians say one thing in front of a camera and take money from the people working against it. That contradiction is the story. This tool makes it searchable.
This site is nonpartisan. Identical scrutiny is applied to every party, every chamber, every official. Republican, Democrat, Independent — same dossier structure, same data sources, same questions.
We don't editorialize. We don't rank. We don't take donations. We pull from public records and present what they show.
Data sources
- FEC — campaign finance, individual contributions, super PAC independent expenditures (api.open.fec.gov).
- House Stock Watcher — STOCK Act trade disclosures filed with the Clerk of the House.
- Senate Stock Watcher — STOCK Act trade disclosures filed with the Senate.
- AI-sourced sections — donor flags, the “Says vs. Gets” card, and boards & affiliations are generated by an AI model from public data and training knowledge. Each is labeled AI-sourced — verify independently. Treat them as leads, not citations.
Scope
Search is currently limited to federal candidates and members of Congress, where campaign-finance disclosure is most complete. Judges, appointees, and state-level officials will return an empty record until additional sources are wired in.
